Research Statement

Dr. Kwon's scholarship focuses on identifying and understanding distinct characteristics of consumer culture in marketplace structure. It consists of:

  • Understanding consumer strategies and ideology embedded in consumption practicesInterpreting cultural identity in fashion
    • Identifying cultural aspects of sustainable consumption practices from consumer’s perspective
    • Identifying cultural aspects of sustainable consumption practices from consumer’s perspective..
