Research Interests
- Development and characterization of textile biomaterials with particular emphasis on antimicrobial degradable biomaterials: this includes the development of biomaterials and the evaluation of their physical and mechanical properties, antimicrobial properties as well as biodegradability.
- Development of electrospun fibers/nanofibers and their applications in medical textiles;
- Textile testing and structure and property analysis of textile products, from fibers, yarns, fabrics to end-products.
